Modern Purism meets Traditional Precision

Precise craftsmanship paired with innovative design – is the watchword combination at the women’s shoe collection Objects in Mirror by Silvana Lauri from Italy’s footwear town Civitanova-Marche. The company has existed since 1976 and in 2004 the second generation of the family founded the new label 'objects in mirror'. The look is purist, clear and modern with great attention paid to detail. During production great importance is attached to traditional craftsmanship and great wear comfort. “The excellent quality and continuity make the company a reliable partner,” explains Ralf Butz, co-owner of the agency 'Agents of, Shoes & Accessories' in Düsseldorf in charge of sales in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

Providing the individual signature style here is designer Daniele Pezzola who already worked on shoe lines such as Roberto del Carlo, Moma and Hugo. Autumn/Winter 2008/09 will bring many closed shoe styles like boots, booties, ankle boots, high-cut court shoes and dandy lace-ups.

Shapes are mainly rounded or tapered. The mid-height heels look stable. Only high-quality leather such soft lambskin nappa or fine calfskin nappa is used here. Decoration is subtle: leather combinations, functional fasteners, noticeable stitching, leather-covered buttons and folded leather appliqués serve as reduced decoration here.

Non-colours and earthy tones like nude, mud, moleskin and milk play a key role in the colour scheme. Black, brown, grey and blue are self-evident while striking colour accents are provided by berry red and purple. As a special feature the collection offers a blake sewn line as a special variation to welt-sewn boots and ankle boots. Furthermore, each style can be supplied on request with semi-rubber soles.

Recommend retail prices for the shoes stand at approx. Euro 150 while boots retail for up to Euro 350.
