Further Increases in the Exclusivity Segment

20/02/2008

Exciting New Premium Brands

With its various different areas the Exclusivity segment at GDS/GLS has successfully sharpened its profile and is now seeing further growth in exhibitor numbers and a large number of exciting new brands: already about 230 exhibitors (equivalent to a 53% rise over September 2007) have registered with around 400 high-quality collections. Relocating the premium area ‘white cubes – contemporary design’ (including the ‘agents only’ segment plus the fashion agency Klauser) to Hall 17 has made it possible to set up new, exclusive concept areas in Hall 9: the areas ‘the Pulse’, ‘exclusivity concept’ and the ‘prime square Salon’ highlight numerous international brands and will be celebrating their debut from 14 to 16 March.

The already fully booked ‘prime square Salon’ is making its debut this season with the high-quality men’s brands Henry Kern, Vintage Handmade, Alba Zapatero with the collection John W. Shoes, Bootskampaniet, Swiss Boots and Magellan & Mulloy. Exquisite collections by designers like Helene Steensby, ZDAR Boots, Soonsalon with Carmen Wong, Zirkeltraining, Celine Lafont and many more are presented at ‘the pulse’. High-quality and emphatically feminine women’s shoes by Graffiti, Casadei, Consortio Moda Firenze with Taccetti, Gianna Meliani and Alberto Gozzi are featured in the ‘exclusivity concept’ area. Amongst those registering in the Exclusivity area are new exhibitors like Pollini and Henry Kayes. The enlarged white cubes area boasts other prominent newcomers like Lacoste with its collection Lacoste Paris, Gambini, Miss Sixty, Cushe, Fornarina, Tallon Rouge, Versus, Allegro, Pantofola D’oro, Objects in Mirror and Iris Morata.
