‚white cubes' - contemporary shoe design

The 102nd GDS from 15th to 17th September 2006 is setting highlights with a new Premium Area in space of around 2,700 sqm: ‚white cubes' - contemporary shoe design - will exclusively present shoe brands and international designer labels. The new sector is meeting with great approval which is clearly reflected in the registrations already received from international trend brands such as: Alima, ANDREA TASSINARI, Doucal's, FRUIT, I GRASSIA, Janet & Janet, JFK, LE SOLIM, NOW, RAS, SEGNI & SENSI, STRATEGIA und 3RD FLOOR.

In the ‚agents only' special area at ‚white cubes', Düsseldorf trade agencies will be presenting among others labels such as: 10Annis, Amaterasu, Angeli Inquieti, Area Forte, Argila, Ash, Augusta/Elen Wagner, Baccarolle, Buttero, Canfora, Castaner, DÉBUT, DKNY, Duccio del Duca, Ego, Eligio Garbo, Enzo di Siena, Esko, Gozzi Alberto, Henderson, Homers, Jamin Puech, Jane Brown, Jo Ghost, Joy Harper, La Suite, Lario, Laura Bellariva, Logan, MARC by MARC JACOBS, Mariana Méndez, MER DU SUD, Miss Harper, Pablo Fuster, Paco Gil, Pan E Tulipani, Pollini, Pontine Paus, Repetto, Sciapo, Sequoia Paris, Strenesse Blue, Strenesse Gabriele Strehle, Swissoccoli, Vivace, Yin, und Zago Alberto.

Completely in white, this new Premium Area is presented in a top-class and minimalist look which focuses attention on the product presentation. An innovative stand design supports the communicative visualization of the exclusive collections: Flat concept stands create a showcase effect and ensure an innovative product presentation.


For ‚white cubes' exhibitors the GDS has produced the ServicePlus Package. The complete package includes a business section with W-Lan, fax and photocopying service as well as a professional address management system provided by GDS and an own reception area with central visitor registration. The service range also covers the reservation of rooms at Düsseldorf's Top Design hotels. A free shuttle service from the hotel to the ‚white cubes' area and showrooms is also included in the package.
